I'll give you ladies three guesses what I'm building here--
That's a tokyo marui thompson (almost 100% metal-- makes it nice 'n heavy), and yessir, that's a genuine spas 12 cage. I managed to find one that had a deconstructed remington 780 airsoft shogun installed in the chamber and connected to the spas pump. It gives you some great resistance when you charge it, and it's got that perfect chunky shotgun-c0cking noise.
Lock 'n load.

I've had this project on the backburner for about a year, but it's taken this long to find a decent spas 12 cage-- Frenchi stopped selling them separately a long time ago, and I'm not even sure if the gun is produced anymore . . .
Now to complete it without screwing any of these parts up . . .
