I'm away at college in the midst of finals right now some 3 hours away from home, so I just gave my mom a call today.
I went to the movies with my friends because it was my birthday And gave my mom a hug. But she was gone all day so I didn't get to do anything special with her
Eh. I didn't really do anything. I'm not really pleased with myself, that I didn't do anything, but I'm not necessarily disappointed. Even if I did do anything, it probably wouldn't have mattered. My mom wouldn't have really cared, I guess. At least, that's what happened in like KinderGarden, when I gave her this stone thing with my hand imprint on it that said Happy Mother's Day!, she just said, "Oh. Thanks." and put it on her dresser or something. It's not there anymore, lol. She doesn't really care, I guess. My parents are so disconnected with all these holidays... Last year we didn't even put up a Christmas tree. =O They don't mind though, it's okay. I'm not mean to them. I just don't see the need to celebrate holidays for a person you see every day. I don't think they do, either =)
My family and I went out for breakfast, like we do every year. Those were some dahm nice pumpkin pancakes, too. That's the great thing about going out to eat: you all end up with some good food, even if it wasn't an occasion to celebrate you.

i bought my mom a card and an italian charm bracelet. i bought her three charms, one that said "i[heart]u", another, just a plain gold heart, and one that said, "mom". ('cept a heart takes the place of the "o".) i dont' think she liked it. she said she doesn't like jewelry, but she wore it anyway (at least for the day). we went out for chinese and that was about it. i think what i should've got her, is an appointment at a day spa and maybe a gc so she can get her hair and nails done. bah...maybe next year.
i also got my baby guinea pig the same day. and..i think i'm allergic to either it, or the hay it needs to feed on. i'm going to find some allergy pills i can take because i want to keep the guinea pig really badly. it's so adorible! i'll try to get pictures one of these days...
I killed her and burried her in the garden..... I mean I bought her sum flowers.
