Hi. I was doing my pubbing. I waited in line for an hour to get into CoFr server, since its one of my fave pubs.
This happened just now. My tag was (99)NSPlayer. It seems I killed too many aliens. I am sorry. Unban plz?

did you contact the server operators first? or did you post in public first.

If the latter, then TBH you don't deserve to be unbanned BECAUSE ANY SERVER DISPUTES SHOULD BE TAKEN UP DIRECTLY WITH THE SERVER OP.

You could post a thread saying "Can anyone give me contact details for XXX please?" but OH NO.

I'm 100% with Roo here.

So far all I see is someone crashing a random server and boasting how they shot a lot of skulks.

Big deal. Ranged weapons vs melee weapons.

If you have a genuine issue, you'd take it up with the CoFR boys who run a very popular server.

I am sorry, but I had problems trying to register into the CoFr Forums. I saw StoneBurg, the admin that banned me around here sometimes posting, so I thought he would tumble upon this. I am not actually a good player. I guess I just had luck. I just wanna get unbanned because I am a regular in CoFr. Playing with keyser, magitek, spectre, stalker and many others. Why? No matter what nick I use, I should be given respect based in how I react to other people and behave in the game, not based on my name, age or nationality. Even if my name was Bob, I shouldnt be kicked for killing aliens. I spawn camp if I can. Its a very useful tactic for delaying the aliens and if I kill them, I can rest sure that, that single alien I killed, he now didnt kill my teammates across the map or in a situation. Thus my team can secure rts while I keep the alien team down for as long as I can.

I repeat. I am not a "good" player. I just get lucky sometimes. Admins shoudlnt abuse their powers. Just because you get killed by an NSPlayer, it doesnt mean he must h4x. I have been an admin in my server before, and even if i got REALLY owned, I congratulated my opponent, didnt ask if he hacked or not.

I hope StoneBurg reads this. Or at least any admin.

I am a regular on the CoFR server, and while I wasn't there personally to see you play, here is what I can tell you. The level of skill on cofr is such that its quite rare for one person to be getting all the kills, left and right. There are many highly skilled players that frequent both marines and aliens. When one person (NSPlayer, mind you) starts getting nearly ALL of the kills, we get a little suspicious.

I remember one time a real hacker was in the server, he had 77 kills while second place was only at 29 kills. This was while some of our most skilled players were in the server as well. For your case, looks like you were playing with Stoneburg, Magitek, Transmission and Prerunner. They are some of our best players, and if they really believed you werent legit to the point of banning, then I will also have to agree with that decision.

Another thing is your boasting. We try to have a mature community within cofr, and ask that of others. There have been many people banned not because of cheating, but because they have a bad attitude and we dont want to play with those kinds of people.

Try the cofr forums if you want to further plead your case, you should have no problems with those forums if you can access these.

I didnt boast about the kills... the only comment i said was "lol i killed a lot" cuz well.. i dont do that very often.. and its kinda funny to see it made by me.

Its threads like these that i have had to rethink the way i admin and have my admins run my server. Before i took a break from NS (still hosted, but didn't play) i was ""elite"" some would say. I was in the grove and very use to the NS gameplay so muzzleflash and Skulk teeth didn't bother me anymore....But i just now started playing again and....i suck yet again. I get whooped up pretty bad, and its because i suck now.

But what i'm saying is just because you get your **** handed to you doesn't mean that they hack, accept the fact that you suck **** and desirve to be humiliated. But don't be a whiney weasel and ban the guy.

When someone is playing under the nick of NSPlayer racking up kills left and right with a 250+ ping I get suspicious. I finally decided to ban you after seeing a very suspicious move while you were camping the Engine hive. It looked exactly like an aimbot "snap". Also, never using more bullets then necessary.. with a 250+ ping... with lag compensation and human reflexes, it is almost impossible to stop shooting *just* as the enemy dies, unless you calculate for him dying and disregard the visual feedback (ie: stop shooting "before" he is dead because you know it's just lag comp taking its time), this is also doable, but when you're under attack from 3 skulks in a tight area..

Anyway, based on that I banned you for cheating. I also said that I was doing it, which oddly enough doesn't show on your console.

Now, if you would have presented your case on the cofrfps.com forums you would most likely have been unbanned. The fact that you instead chose to post here makes me reluctant to do so.

Im OSS leader Nitro, also owner of the very populated and popular OSS server...

Aggelos use to play on our server all the time (one of the most active on our server as per our stats page).

He is a really good and skilled player, (he didnt use to kill soo much people in a row, but Im not gonna discuss skillz here)... He ended up been banned for a stupid fight we had in OSS forums, in wich I would take the occasion to apologise to Aggelos and tell him that he got unbanned.

(eck we tied vs cri in a scrim and we got over-excited in our forums about it hehehehe!)

This is what I know about Aggelos:
he got a bad ping, and owns everything, I heard from eve that its normal, best shooters have a ping around 250 ms, its a bug or sumthin.

he doesnt hack, but knows all lil bugs, (gamma clear, bhop scripts, custom crossharis and more (hell all the #cri does it <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>))

he does, sometimes, whine about his team not being up to his expectations saying things like "my team are all n00bs"...

he use to stack marines all the time, until and admin would ask him to go aliens.

he doesnt really care about the team objectives, he just place himself to block aliens course, camps it and kills all skulks in that way 9wich is going for easy kills)

But I would like to state that Aggelos is cooperative with admins, he usually get the warning and stop acting like an idiot when he does. Of course if this guy joins a "normal pub server" he might destroy everything and asking for a ban, bcause every n00b might think he cheats (I use to think that to).

Anyway, message to Aggelos:
I told u man 100 times! ur frustrating those poor lil Aliens!!!hehehehe
