Info:
Natural-Selection doesn't have blood for marines but has for aliens(if can you call green stuff blood). This plugin adds good old red blood to marines just to make game bit more realistic ;)

Installing:
Install like any other metamod plugin.

Cvars:
<ul>
<li>marinebleed_on:
disables plugin with value "0"
<li>marinebleed_gorelevel:
default value is 1. If you want more blood make this larger.
<li>marinebleed_bloodspread:
how much noice to extra blood spread direction angles. default value is 1. 180 cause blood spread every direction.
</ul>

Notes:
Only works with Natural-Selection!

    Blood is cool, but it would be cool if a skulk bites a marine and you see a leg bone fly off. Pass the legs please. I like em raw thank you.

    Yes it does go against Flayra's vision. He wanted NS to be free of gore. However, I think this is great as an indication of damage to marines. An alternative might be sparks dropping off the marines armor, like it is shorting out from being pierced. That would be gore-free yet helpful.

    you mean setting marinebleed_gorelevel more than 1? .. and marinebleed_gorelevel 1 is just fine?

    Yeah, if you set gore to like 50 and spread to like 180....muhahhahhaa....its funny, but lags the crap out of 56K users.

    Yeah, gore 3 and spread 3 works just fine

    well the topic in general discussion was locked about this, but this one is still active. What is the dev's opinion of this plugin, because frankly, the rest of us think it rocks, though it does go against Flayra's wishes for the game...

    At the end of the day, we're the "front line" of HIS mod, so I can see how it's a sticky issue. (No pun intended)

    for bones and stuff, I think the server would need to turn on the "gibs." if you check your server.cfg file, I think there's a way to turn them on...     i've found that actually i'm a much better alien with this, i can tell much easier when i'm hitting marines, and hence my game has improved signficantly IMO.

    I dont mind the blood/gore, but I do understand the sentiment of keeping the game child-friendly etc.

    great plugin.

    it registers blood if you are hit, not just when you die.

    i'm not sure why we want this to be super kid friendly (no gore) since if you are a kid who is so young that video game gore is bad, you're probably too young to play NS properly?

    i'm sure this has been said before, but worth noting.

    i think the blood adds a ton of atmosphere to the game, and makes the skulks all the more freaky.
