I'm not sure that this is really on topic for this forum, but I'll give it a go just in case. The Mod Summary Section for Half-Life from www.csports.net lists 200 plus modifications (and I think it only lists multiplayer mods), with the homepage, if known, for each.

You've covered the most frequently played multiplayer mods, but I'll point out that Firearms is about 4 times more popular than Ricochet and 7 times more popular than Death Match Classic. Some other mods that have (had?) strong followings include Sven Co-op, Vampire Slayer, Oz Deathmatch, both multiplayer types for Oppossing Forces (highly underrated in my opinion), and Scientist Hunt (great stress killer and way too much fun, even off line).

In addition there are some really stand-out single player mods, including USS Darkstar, Poke 646, and ETC.

Public Enemy is really, really good... especially for a mod that just came out.
The Specialists is probably the best dueling mod one can find, it's like AHL, but better.
Earth's Special Forces is okay, even though it is DBZ.

Oh, and Scientist Slaughter House is the best stress relief single-player mod ever.

"He" who made USS Darkstar is Called "Neil Manke" and your favorite mod is called They Hunger(Probably) and his URL is: <a href='http://www.planethalflife.com/manke' target='_blank'>http://www.planethalflife.com/manke</a> <--- There.

Well I just finished Point of View and gotta say that is really really cool. The thing I loved most were the maps, really detailed in every possible way. Play it, you won't regret it.

    THE SPECIALISTS = leet ownage

you want "bullettime" ====> the Specialists
you want to play the lobby level from the matrix ===> the Specialists
you want dual akimo beretta's and a pair of golden glocks ====> the Specialists

the game is very cool, well, as far as you can go on the HL-engine, which can be pretty far when you look at NS <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Three teamplay modifications that haven't received as much attention as they deserve:

    <b><a href='http://www.planethalflife.com/globalwarfare/' target='_blank'>Global Warfare</a></b>
United Nations versus arabs in rounds that can be won by either accomplishing the mission or destroying the enemy transport that carry reinforcements.

    <b><a href='http://www.frontlineforce.com' target='_blank'>Frontline Force</a></b>
Pseudo-realistic environment with unrealistic damage and features. Team cooperation is more or less forced on the players since the accuracy of weapons is improved when you are near allies which also makes you regenerate health.

    <b><a href='http://www.buzzybots.dk/' target='_blank'>Buzzy Bots</a></b>
    Surreal cartoon environment with robots.

the specialist just owns for LAN partys, nothing like a good old death match.
esp with stunts and slow motion.

And the bots for it arn't actually that bad, you could 'allmost' mistake them for a real player.

there are a lot of good mods that are underrated(science and industry, wizard wars to name a few),opposing force CTF is also underrated i think, it's lots of fun to me yet still they play more DM matches(i don't really like a massive deathmatch unless in Wizwars). you named the most popular and the les popular. single player can be fun, but i still prefer a good CTF mod(such old concept but still much fun) instead of a team deathmatch with a often ignored mission objective.

OMG OMG U PLAYED OP4CTF :o used to love that game.. I was everyone's favourite n00b <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> but then i lost ma HL copy.. i recently got it back, but the mod is dead now. Some dudes like [DOA]Morpheus (maybe u heard of im) tried to revive it but it failed... like a week ago, everyone left to Adrenaline Gamer. Frankly i don't know whats so cool about THAT but hey.

    SI is great fun.

Actually i find it strange that CS is Teh "elite" game... theres so many better mods out there.. NS for example <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

Science and Industry is quite hilarious. I find nothign funnier than whacking a scientist over the head and fireman's carrying him and ordering him to work for you. Ya, it's fun.

Science & Industry is fantastic. I highly recommend it. It's not a weapons mod, another boring ctf or cs clone, or some crappy, poor-quality pos. It's creative, original, and a hell of a lot of fun <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Ya.. Science and Industry is a great mod to play. First of all, it has a tech tree. Now, of course, NS has a tech tree, but no where near as large as S&Is.
Its fun and Funny. You can't beat Tau jumping into a base, brining out a GI destablizer and then brief case killing a couple enemies while they stumble around vomiting =D
It is reminisiant of TFC, in such that there are usually two bases or Fortresses, and Teams.. of course.
Then theres the capture part. TFC has flags that do nothing, S&I has scientists that add to your companies money and quicken research. and money is good, thats how you win. Team with most money when the game ends wins. Also there can be extra items scattered around the levels. Data CDs that automaticly finish what you are currently researching, bags of money...
Also, theres the voting system. Every so often you get to vote on what you research next. Meaning if half your team has no clue what they are doing, you are screwed. Of course, if you kill alot and capture enough, you get deemed Employee of the Month, giving your vote the power of 2 and having a little E beside what ever you choose in everyone elses vote menu.. N00bs usually go for weapons they can't use or what the EOTM says. Plus, there is LlamaFilter.. which basicly replaces certin phrases with other odd, self insulting sentances.. among other features.
