Just want to know if you can still bunny hop.
And how has it been fixed... if it has...

bhopping forwards is useless, it is slower to bhop forwards then to run. However, bhopping backwards lives!

That's right, the fastest form of locomotion in 1.1 is bhopping backwards, heh.

I know that sounds bad, but it's actually pretty cool ingame imo. It still gives marines a chance to dodge and such, but its not like everyone is running around backward bhopping all the time.

But isn't the point of having slower backwards movement to make the rines make a choice between fight or flight? Backwards bhopping kinda seems to defeat the purpose.

You can't really backwards bhop and aim simultaneously though. You can either use it to flee or to dodge. The fight or flight choice is still there with backwards bhopping.

here is how you fix it. Keep the current jump model how it is currently, but just make them not able to jump when taking damage, like from a skulk bite. Why should they take a bite in the leg and still jump like Michael Jordan? this effect only lasts briefly, like 1 second

it sound like a good idea, but when a skulk is on your tail, 1 second is waaay too long

Or easier, make a brief pause before you can shoot after jumping, like the one in DoD.

Or just fix the backwards bunnyhopping to be as slow as it should be...
No normal human get's fast jumping backwards 3 times than jumping backwards one time...
    They just fall over

No normal human has a day job clearing small, biting dog aliens from infested spaceships.

Eats - Sounds like a decent compromise
