Listen NS team,
Iv observed and over observed servers list,
When NS came up, new servers were appearing everyday...
Now, theyr all empty and they are dissapearing...

I personnaly know some other HL mod gaming communities that changed their servers to put more DoD or other mod games on it...OSS is still one of the most populated and popular server (heh we always top five crowed) but the problem is this....

We losing some of our regulars because those guys ALL HAVE v1.1!!!! (this is discrimination).... And they all think that 1.04 blows compare to it, so they dont come anymore....

Also, the new CS and new DoD (wich rocks!) came out, so once again we losing players on NS servers....Without mentioning the PlanetSide beta that is taking half of HL mod fans...

Dunno about the NS team knowledge in marketing.... but right now ur losing the beat... geez ns1.1 was announce for February... I wouldnt mind if it was a 2 weeks delay.. BUT 4 MONTHS!?!?!?!

Anyway, for all servers operators, that are still stuck with 1.04, Im sure u all agree with me....

This new version (supposely bugs free) is taking way too much time, and whats frustrating me, is that some people got chosen to test it since more then a month!!!

Just release sumthin, it will have bugs, aight so what, release a patch the week after!

anyway, just had to let it go, as the owner of one o the most popular server of NS, I think I got my word to say, since Im able to keep up some folks interested into NS by providing them a good gaming experience thanks to the great job of my numerous admins...

Those people that are leaving your server will play 1.1 for now, but as soon as it is released to the public, they'll come right back to playing at your server again. Flayra and Co are working hard to bring us the best, most bug-free 1.1 possible within a decent time frame. They are providing this game to you and everyone else for free, so quit yer complainin and wait like the rest of us!

NS 1.1 will be released when its ready.

As part of the beta team, i assure you, Flayra and Team are working very very hard on 1.1. VERY VERY hard. Flayra is constantly coding and compiling. He's working on a major update for the betas atm and will have that out...once it is out, it will be tested and reported back. Minor bugs will be fixed and Flayra will move onto a new part of the Changelog. Its how it works and he's working super hard...not to mention the 1000s of PMs, emails, and such that he gets everyday...and people wonder why he doens't Idle on IRC.

Natural-Selection is a really well made game, and Im fortunate, in fact, to be abe to play it for free...

I was mainly whining with the fact that lots of people got the chance to be on 1.1...
Heck sometimes when we look for scrim people answer us "heh v1.04 sux, we too busy playing 1.1"

I also want it to be balanced and have all the bugs fixed.

Anyway good point mentioned here is about CS. The new CS 1.6 is almost certainly coming out at the end of the month. Would it be best to have NS 1.1 come out before it or after it? Or will it make no difference? Do you want NS 1.1 to be rush and have to wait for the NS team to fix bugs because they didn't test it enough or do you want to be patient and realize how lucky you are that the NS team even came to existence to make such a cool mod.
