well, sorta like that, and where the corridor turns i want the hall_toplight texture to curve in a nice arc around to meet the next straight part.
Thanks in advance for any help
Edit: I hope carbon takes it up, hes pretty good at this sort of thing <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

I"m not sure what you meant, but here is a more accurate representation of waht i wanted. SAy you have a hall right, with the texture hall_toplight in the middle of the ceiling. A bit away, it turns right, and after the turn yuo have the hall_toplight continuing on. I wanted a texture, sorta of like a pipe bend, that i could put between the 2 to make it look better, ratehr than 2 straight bits. It dosen't mater now, unless you want to be really helpful <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Just TRY it! This is not a difficult texture... except it will be round <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
And remember when you are posting: Half of the world is sleeping while it is mid-day at your location! Wait 24h... if noone sends you a texture till then you might have to make your own.

do u see? The texture will follow the effect and give what u are looking for.
it'll avoid u making a new texture for nothing
And anyway, this method is better for compiling proccess, as the compile tools tend to compile triangles better and faster...
Now for photoshop..............................................
crap. I tried...I really did. for like 30 minutes too.....sorry

Its alright, i did what evil bob said, and it came out looking alright.
You'll need to use two entities, one for each render type--additive or texture rendermode glass won't mix with solid rendermode infestation on the same texture, and using solid rendermode is the only way I can think of to keep the infestation from being at least partially seethrough.
EDIT: grammar/readability
*looks around covertly.....
*steals the texture..
