REMEMBER TO

change the default entity to in_player_start

Last night i compile my map and i couldnt play..... i went through lots of things and was nearly on the verge of smashing my keyboard when then i had an idea....

"it must be my entity....."

.me compiles for the final time

"WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

And the moral of this story is to make sure that the entity is set as in_player_start

No offence, buts thats complete bs. Your Hammer/Worldcraft's default entity setting has no effect on the map what-so-ever. You must have changed something else.

Don't worry all, that was only the newbie proudness about a stupid accident and about its stupid voluntee to create a new post about it to teach to all the newbies here we are not to do the same mistake....

And neither is this a free for all flame pit.

The guy was simply imparting a little knowledge that he had picked up through as mistake of his, and he obviously wanted to share this with others, most likely in the hope this would help him out.

Obviously this is not good enough for you, so I would respectully suggest that you refrain from making a single other post on these forums until you have read <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums.html' target='_blank'>these rules</a>.
