Hl And Router...

<div class="IPBDescription">"lag" and WSAEINTR error</div> hi,
I'm using a router (it's a <b>@-iT BCD-1100</b>) for some weeks now, but I still got one problem:

Whenever I try to join a HL game it says "WSAEINTR"-error. So I browsed the web and found a good tool to fix this problem: HL Proxy. Now I can join all servers but I still got some nasty "lag" (but my ping is ok... mostly around 50-70, but always below 100).

As you can see in the attached screenshot, the red bars on the net_graph show the "lag"... and that it's always the same "intervall".

I also forwarded the ports 27005, 27010 (client ports) and 27015 (server port) to my pc from the router. But it's still the same...

Any suitable sollutions how to fix this problems?

btw: I used the search function and didn't find anything about it. I also tried to forward all the other ports from the router to my pc (WON-login port and so on) but there was no other result. It's ONLY if the router is connected (when I play WITHOUT the router all is fine) and ONLY when I try to play Half-Life online with it. All other games work fine on the internet. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

/?: also tried all the things that are explained <a href='http://cs.helpandsupport.net/?aid=37' target='_blank'>here</a> and <a href='http://www.hansenonline.net/HalfLife/' target='_blank'>here</a> but still the same... <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I would be really interested in a solution to this problem as I get the same effect on all jolt.co.uk DoD 1.0 servers (dont know about 3.1b)

    it answer is in the number of packets/time your router is set to this setting seems to be hard coded.

    i had one for a bit that only updated ever half second. it was kind cool to watch your lag go op at a steady rate. i tired desprately to eliminate teh problem but failed.

    insead i bought a 100mps switch
    and am now running my house over internet connection sharing

    teh only down side is my computer is on 24 hours a day
    7 days a week so teh roomates can watch pron.

    you will also have to get a connection program for your pc

    you could also try updating the firm ware on the router
    but in the case of smc it odnt help at all.
