Half-life Ii Tech Demo

Hey guys.

Haven’t been on the forums for a time being now. Spent my whole time on GameSpot and watched everything E3 had to show, reeeal impressed.
Metal Gear Solid 3, Gran Turismo 4, SSX3, Rise of Honor, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun is some of the games that impressed me real much.
But the game that really impressed me most on PC is... guess one time. Haven’t a clue? Well ok then... Im talking about Half-Life II. And now you say "Ahhh, that one."

Well let get to the point.
Everyone has seen the HLII tech demo video that they showed at E3? If you haven’t you can get it here www.gamespot.com (but you need GS Complete to look at it), if anyone have an other link please post it here.
Now, what I mean is that Valve could release that tech video as a demo so all the fans could test it out on their PC's. I mean, how it works on your computer and see the graphics in your own eyes and also see the physics in the game. It is 4 months before they release the game. And I know that it is many of you that want the game now.
Anyway what do you all think of my idea?

Thanks for my time. And have a nice day thinking about Half-Life II

No. The game probably isn't optomized yet, and its all they need for 100,000 people to write emails all in caps to them screaming "HL2 WONT WORK ON MY COMPOOOTER!!!! YOU SUCKS!??!!!111"

If you listen to the guy in the tech demo he talks about how it's already "compatible with even lo-end hardware"

Aye. They can't alienate the 10 year old CS players who are on their mom's office computers.
