<b>Terran, my line was crossed when the hive suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Getting contact with the ship just like that doesnt make it any better. A small portable control thingy is a minor offense compared to that stuff. I might be able to survive the hive, but the contact <u>never existed</u>.
And ed, calm down. I know you're from the ship and you're supposed to know the ship. But you don't know what the Kharaa did to it, and you don't know what's happening outside the ship. You're taking a bit too much of control for my liking.
So, for the record, the lightly defended hive is still there, but Ed never established contact to anything outside the ship.</b>

So does that mean that the people Ed called for didn't get the message and the escape ship is there but we don't know that there is a hive by it ?

"It wouldnt work anyway. Kharra have completly differant internal systems and in some cases where captured specimens were exsposed to gamma radiation, it acted as a catalyst, the lifeform would invairiably mutate incredibly quickly, turning from a skulk into a differant life-form within minutes. They were never allowed to complete their mutations, they were alwasys exterminated. Im not sure their condition, but they should be still there.
