If the onos picks up redemption it makes it very hard for the onos to be most effective. To onos is weaker and doesnt regain health like in the other upgrades and it becomes very easy for even lmg marines to send him back from whence he came. Also, hmg's can kill him if he does get redemption to kick in.

By the way , seen that this thread is about rendemption . Has rendemption changed in any way ? I mean , it is supposed to bring you back to the hive if your health is lower than 20 , and it checks out every tick , I don't know if those ticks are FPS based or time based . Can anyone tell me ? I got a crappy comp running at 10 FPS and sometimes with rendemption , I get shot , I see that my life is about 15 , but it waits lets say a good 4 seconds till it teleports me <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> Anything changed in 1.1 about that?
It's not 20 HP, it's 20% of your starting health, and even then, there's a random failure rate. So, if you're for example a redemption-skulk with 15 HP, it's not necessaryliy triggering anyway.
But Nem when is the chance to redeem calculated? Is it based on fps? Is it simply a fixed number of times each second? Does lag or ping play any part in the calculation? I've yet to see anyone provide a comprehensive outline of just how redeption works; I'd love to hear from your good self on the issue <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
