a short NS story
Lieutenant Powell was alone. The eerie creaking of the ship had begun to discomfort him,
And it was dark. Heart pounding, his clammy hand grasped tighter around his gun as he
noiselessly crept through the shadows. His squadron had been making their way out, when they had been attacked. Images flashed before his eyes. Something had moved. It wasn’t human. It was too fast to of been human. The sounds of guns blazing, the shell casings chinking as they hit the floor, echoed through his mind. He was replaying what had happened. It had all been so fast before. But his mind was now playing it in slow motion.
He shook away these thoughts, and carried on moving. If only he could make his way back to base. It was too risky to use the voice-communicator to ask for help. In case they heard him. He had been deep in thought before, but now he was suddenly aware of his surroundings. He looked around him. He was crouching in a dark enclosed space and cool air was blowing past him. He realised he must be in the ventilation shafts.
Yes. He remembered now. They had fired every bullet they had at the ghastly creature, but it just kept running at them. As the last shell had hit the floor, the metallic clink had echoed through the ship. Almost as if it knew of their impending doom. It sent a shiver down Powell’s spine, as the sound rang through his ears once more. It had reminded him of something dreadful he had done. He did not know the fate of his squad, because as that final shell had hit the floor, he had dived into a crevice. And now he felt cowardly. A traitor.
Up ahead, he could see the end of the shaft, which was on floor level. There was another vent directly opposite him, with only a walkway keeping them apart. He had to make a decision. Dare he try to make his own way back, and quickly run across the walkway to the other vent? Or instead stay put, until someone came by? He had made his way to the end of the shaft now. It was time to decide.
Suddenly, Powell heard the sound of a door opening, to the right of the walkway. Expecting the familiar boots of his fellow marines to walk past him, he was about to speak. Just then, it walked past the vent, and it was not human boots he was looking upon. Mouth open in horror, Powell stared wide-eyed at what was walking past him. The feet were covered in jet-black scales, and where there should have been toes, there were long sharp claws. Just then, a flash of blue light appeared next to him. He looked to see an ammo-pack, still glowing from the nanites that had built it. The beast stopped, and sniffed the air. The flash had alerted it to Powell's presence. It was looking for him. The creature, in frustration let out the most terrifying sound Powell had ever heard. Enough was enough. Finger on the trigger, Powell let out a roar in defiance, and leapt out the vent, gun blazing....

Nanite bullets regenerate themselves at a rapid rate of 25 bullets per second. That's why there's infinite ammo at the Armoury. As for the gun, that's why in 1.03 they had 50|300 bullets, but Flayra said that's haxing so he changed it to 50|250. It's a bug in the game, really =P.

is there any timetable as to when it will be?
Pjofski = 1 | TAK = 2
it doesn't say the guns regenerate there bullets, and when your in game you don't mysteriously spawn ammo in your gun
pwned
thats how he has ammo duh
the majority of this is constructive critisism that helps people develop there work...
anyone read coil's thesis
Me. I was drooling all over it, desperately trying to stay awake until 12:00. I wanted to kill coil. Then I fell asleep. I woke up at 6:30, though, 2 hours before school started. I woke up really slowly, then remembered that coil posted the next part. I jumped to my computer and turned it on and read it. It was depressingly shorter than the others, though. My mood was cheered up as another Strong Bad e-mail was also given to us =)
