This question is for playtesters, so please don't spam this thread with your "oppinions" or "thoughts" how it might be just from things you read in other threads. thx.

From a lot of postings on the beta forum it seems to be, that there has been hardly a change in "tactical versatatily", although this was one of the main parts when 1.1 was annouced.
It seems that the Alien build order has just changed from D|M|S to M|D|S and Marines have hardly a chance if not rushing.

Assuming the same teams fight on the same map. Marines using the same tactic every time, Aliens starting with different chambers each time.
Is the only way for the Aliens to start with Movements?
Will starting with other Chambers lower your chances a lot or even result in a loss?

As Marine is there just a new version of teching "MT first, some upgrades, storm the hive" or are there more VIABLE ways to go?

I'd really like to have some impressions/thoughts on that from playtesters/veterans, because, although I have great trust in Flyra, I fear this might become just another version with "the ONE tactic" for each team (or even worse: for only one team).

    Wouldn't mind a reply by a PT either. How I've heard it is, the marines are pretty much screwed if they dont rush. They said it themselves they are trying to make it difficult to have marines lock down two hives (which is the only way to win outside of rushes or siege).

    Erm, you do realise the only reason you know this is because the PTs themselves have pointed this out ? I'll repeat this, because it's important, Flay and Co <b>know</b> this.

    And you do know its still in Beta, i.e. feedback from PTs causes changes in the game ? Continue with the logic and it'll be sorted for the final 1.1.
