I often heard from other players, that the commander is able to close and open doors. When I play commander, and i go with my cursor over a button for a door for example, i see the changing cursor, but when i click with the left or the right mouse button, there happens nothing? So...

Is it possible to use buttons, doors, ... as a comm?

    yes i have done this before but a marine must be in visual sight of it to work it.

    It was already discussed somewhere here so you can find it by using the button named "search"... Some doors can be opened by the comm, some other cant

    You can open doors that stay open when you open them. Some doors, for example, activate and open when you go near them. Then they close by themselves. A comm CAN'T open those types of doors.
