<div class="IPBDescription">Playtester/Vet feelings on pistol change</div> So what do you guys think of the new pistol? Was it changed from a primary weapon to a backup? Was the rate of fire decreased enough to make it usable but not a lethal long range death ray? What's up? Those who don't use a pistol-dump script or bind mousewheel to fire will not notice any significant difference in the pistol. I can still fire it as fast as I can click.

For those who don't know what a pistol-dump script is, it's a way of bypassing the pistol's semi-auto nature and dumping all 10 rounds almost instantly, for a perfect-accuracy 200-damage hit.

Whats the new delay on re-fire rate? 0.2 seconds? 0.5? I know some people can click faster than others and if I set my hand up on the mouse and hold the mouse still with my other hand I can fire off pretty darn fast. That's not normal though, as most people will be using their clicky finger while moving around. Any PT or Vet wanna comment?

guys, i wouldnt worry to much about the pistol. It still fires fast enough to kill skulks from any distance.

Mousewheel pistoling eh? I'd heard of it, but was always too lazy to try it, and i rarely play as a marine anyway...

well some mousewheels dont ahve the right configuration, you need it to make a register command fast enough. mine personally only clicks three times by mocing my finger from the top to the bottom of the wheel, so its just about the same speed as rampant clicking. some people's wheel is more clicky and blew off a whole load....

I guess the end result wont be any different though, as all my clicks dont register for some reason (probably the same reason all of the +attack-commands wont be executed sometimes if using a script).
