Yes I know it's been done before....
...but this time we do it PROPERLY

The ONLY rule of this thread is you can only post your all time favourite movie. This means ONE movie. Not 5, 10, 15, 20 etc. You gotta cut it down and pick your all time favourite movie. If you post more than one movie we all know your a dirty rotten Greedo lover.

Examples
"I like Saving Private Ryan, Terminator, Godfather." <<<<You suck
"I like Saving Private Ryan" <<<<You win!

To get the ball rolling

Mine
The Transformers: The Movie
You either love this movie to death, or you don't. There's no grey area. It's a cult thing baby ;o

That's the point. If you can't decide on your favourite movie nigh on instantly it really isn't your favourite movie.

Hell I know I shall enjoy most of the movies posted in this thread, but the term is favourite not favourites ;p

My favourit movie is probably Dog Soldiers, possible due to its bloody/violent/militry/horror/tiwsted plot/setting in Scotland/realism.

Still I'd post another but i just tosed a coin between them

Really tough. Well, if we focus on traditional 'movies', as opposed to, say, anime series, it'd be Ghandi by Sir Richard Attenborough. Yea, so I am a weirdo, bite me.

[Semi-off-topic] Have you ever seen UHF? It had the funniest parody of ghandi ever, it even beats Conan the Librarian (from the same movie) [/semi-off-topic]

Seven Samurai. No other film comes close, and I'm enough of a nerd to go off across the country to go see it wherever it's played on the big screen.

Pulp Fiction. I can watch it 15 times every week and it never gets old.

    ...and the script...ahhhh

No. That's "Dr. Strangelove" another good movie, top 5 material.

Kentucky Fried Movie, on the other hand, is a pre-Police Squad movie of just pure randomness. It's a sketch comedy movie, and I can't really draw a comparison to any other movie except to say that it's a like a very crude (and funnier) SNL in movie form. The "film at 11" comment comes from a part in the movie where randomly between sketches there will be this guy sitting at a desk and he will say some random thing, and then "film at 11"
