Cannot Install With Dod Retail.

Hi all,

I have DoD retail and I cannot get NS to install. I keep getting a "Version Error" popup saying that I dont have the correct version of Half Life or Counter Strike.

Any suggestions?

    You can only install NS in Counter-Strike or Half-Life retail.

    im sure if it works with cs retail it should word with dod retail. however, i dont know how.

    after it is installed i would get version error if i use the desktop shortcut, you should use the one in the start menu instead, but you say it wont install?

    i fixed that one by reinstalling the 1.1.1.0 half life update, try and see if that file will work with the dod retail.

    How do I install the Hlaf Life update with the DoD retail -- this seems like a problem.

    its pretty simple one downloads teh update and runs it i believe teh file is hl1110.exe
    simply down load it and install normally.

    this works becasue dod is really is built off of hl
    hope that clears it up
