a lot of things remind me of ns..

sometimes though i'll just quote things from the game at 'appropriate' times. when i see a mess.. you guessed it, 'this place is a mess,' or 'now, we dance,' or 'how'd i get to be so good?' etc.. but ya have to immitate the voices. don't worry, i only say these things when i'm around people who play ns, or used to.

i wish the aliens had more things to say.. but what would they say? everyone leans more toward using their mics anyway.

Most people are of the opinion that when the hive voice says "dance" it sounds like "donce", but it's just said in a bit of an odd accent really.

Well, that's what i presume at least, but being from southern england, i say "dance" as "darnce" (Sorry for the phonetics).

My thoughts exactly. Some people pronounce glass grass, etc. as "glarse, grarse", and so on. "Donce"? Only works if you pronounce it in a thick American accent.

    Hmm...

when I wake up in the morning my brain is usually still asleep so I say all manner of random things and I also have very very incoherient thoughts going through my brain, usually with very big words that don't go together.

Anyway, one day my mom woke me up early because I had a dentist appointment or something, and I think I ended up telling her about an onos in our base and we need more gorges or something like that. heh.

i heard that "donce" is a popular misspelling for the word "dance" on a certain IRC channel related to NS (no idea which) and that is why the hive voice says donce and not dance. or summath. i personally prefer some good oxford English. "Donce" was a pretty popular running gag in #ns and #evolutionarily pre-1.0 (to quote MonsE "No *&%/$§ doncing!"), so I guess Flayra just gave us a little insider, which I'm turning an outsider right now

I've woken up in the morning to my alarm, looked at the time, and went back to sleep after telling myself that I can sleep because we still have two hives...

Seriously. Don't even ask why, I think that was my only NS moment, I believe that was the morning after a NS binge.

I once saw a newspaper article with the title:

    Gorge encourages Daredevils

    My first though was:

What?? The marines try to weld the gorge to death?

If I play as a marine with a jetpack for long enough, I'll get up from the computer and reflexively try to jetpack across my room. I've actually gotten a couple nasty bruises on my shins from running into my bed.

    or "SANITAETER" or whatever.

and nobody knows WTH im saying but its good times anyway.
