What/who Provides You The Most Grief?

Grief is such an MMORPG term - UO/EQ/etc. But man, I swear to god peps in this mod provide a pretty decent amount of grief, due to inexperience and lack of common sense.
As a Marine:
- Those who stand in base waiting for ANYTHING. Esp. those that TYPE what they need and camp in base for it.
- Those that comm when he/she is a total moron/newb. Seriously, get some common sense. If you don't know what to do, don't do it. For those that say you have to learn at some point in time.... well then, time is precious so do it elsewhere. Esp. for those that take a fresh round seriously.
- People who put mines on the wall after you clearly yell NOT to put them on the wall. (I would point the finger at newbies again, but hell - you*** state where to put it for christ sake)
- You give a nav, state the location, and tell the gameplan... but yet there is always one person that steers the other direction. (Rambos not included)
As Alien:
- A kiddie with a mic saying, within the first minute of the round, "I'm gonna gorge."
- The 'silent gorging peps' - don't say when (mic or keyboard) when they decide to gorge. Anyone that doesn't tell when he/she is gorging is a newb in my book.

Comments
- Those who freak out when I go gorge as backup after we have both hives or 1 hive and another going up while we have mucho res nodes. In easier terms, those who don't see the benefit of double gorging, especially later in the game.
- I'll have to go with those who air their dirty laundry on these forums. It's one thing to state a bug that someone was exploiting or using an example of a "lame" tactic to prove a point, it's quite another to pour your heart out to us just to make you feel better. We don't have hearts, but we'll eat yours <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
- Newbie gorges. I'll have to explain MY version of what I consider a newbie gorge. A newbie gorge is someone who gorges without OR with consent and doesn't have a clue as to what they're doing and they don't let anyone else know until it's too late (i.e. we see sensory chambers going up in 1.04). Also included is those who decide to go gorge just for the heck of it while we're trying to save for hive, res nodes or other important structures. And don't forget, those that go out and build OC in the middle of nowhere without capping res nodes or building defense towers first.
- Screaming weenies. These are on BOTH teams, those that will scream that their whole team is the sux and they should all go crawl in a hole. These people will constantly direct the whole team, whether they're commander or gorge or not. They will scream even if they're team is winning. These are NOT the people who scream XXX is under attack unless XXX is under attack is combined with profanities the likes which a sailor would cringe at. There is no specific skill of screaming weenies, some suck, some are good.
- GG. I'm sorry, it might be "polite" or tradition or whatever to say GG at the end of a match but when a match is over before it even barely starts ala the JP/HMG rush in the first 5 mins then that was NOT a good game. Especially for the aliens. That was BORING. That was a waste of 5 minutes of my life that I cannot get back. If I wanted the dripping sarcasm that I feel comes with the GG (whether it's intended or not), then I'll go play CS, use the AWP and use a wallhack and instant kill the entire opposing team.
Well, I have more gripes but it's time for my 4 day weekend! WOOOT!
Oh and lag. Lag is evil too.
Now seriously, I can't stand Lerk falling damage, if there were a choice between skulks/lerks falling damage, I would pick skulks.
Just happy that lerks get no falling damage in 1.1, will eliminate need for gliding (hold jump button).
Also those net tez guys... Banned out in many places though I bet.

Someone getting into a comm chair and relocating to somewhere. But forgetting to tell the team WHERE he's reloacting, and building all the structures BEFORE we get there
Being a gorg, with 75 res at a hive, and one HMG marine comes along, and no skulks come to help (i realise a gorg shud be able to take one on, but the marines are good)
People just shouting "OMG N00B GORG!!!!!!" for NO decernable reason.
I loathe this one person (no names) but he is quoted as saying to a server admin (my friend)
"You can't IP ban me because i have a <b>Static ip</b>"
I dont really mind n00bs who ask for help, or say "Hey, im new so i might not be so good". But i hate n00bs who dont say a word, and then get angry when people complain that they are just sitting on top of an armoury or something
People who, when asked by a n00b where XXX location is, go "God, we've lost XXX is a total n00bie"

- I hate it when people don't do what I say. How selfish of them to not consider that I know the best way to do anything! This applies to everything from mine placement to web placement.
- When people kill me. Stupid noobs, the game's about teamwork, not killing me.
- When the commander does anything, ever. What a stupid noob! Everyone knows that you shouldn't do anything, ever! It's a complete waste of res! Everyone, F-fwhore!
- When anyone goes gorge. The whole point of being Kharaa is to ridicule the gorge. Stupid noob gorge.
- Etc.
Honestly.. what I hate is...... being a n00b..... Something people tend to forget is that some ppl are new to this game genre.. OR that even those who are not.. are new to NS, and the fast pace NS sets... *It's so much different fighting real ppl... instead of "godlike bots in UT"...hehe*
And.. those noob commentes every one makes.... I've won games before for my team.... b/c while I might not be the best shot.... or even the quickest to react.. I've got a BRAIN, and some common sense.. and a good idea of how the game works.. so I CAN help out.... but ppl never see that.. ya know?
Also.. I hate L4M3RZ!!! those people who think everyone should be as good as them, do what they say, and ridicule ppl who.. *gasp* MAKE MISTAKES!!!! <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

*gets off soap box*
So when someone asks about game specifics I don't scream: "Shut up n00b!" I try and help folks along. Despite my own novice status.
Aliens who expect to be completely safe if they cloak out in the open somewhere, instead of finding somewhere covered to hide in, to more easily blend in.
Anyone who complains about deviations from the standard DMS build order.
Comms who don't communicate with the grunts. Grunts who don't communicate with the comm.
Elitist [censoreds], of any sort. Abusive [censoreds] of any sort.
People ignoring the early-game sensitivity of the alien res system and either multi-gorging or lerking without checking it's okay.
All-or-nothing tactics.
The way with my combination of poor fps and high ping my computer seems to just guess at what the server's seeing towards the end of games.

edited to add the most important one:
I played NS pretty much constantly (6 hrs/day, probably) from its release until mid-February, and was therefore pretty good. Then I took an eleven-week break to go on a long trip to the US, and now I'm back I'm really, <i>really</i> bad at the game.
That's as it should be, Brave... I try to do the same thing... I'm glad I'm not alone.... Hehe... I really truely think that some experianced game players should take n00bs under thier wings, and help them out.... I know that once I get "experianced" (aka can shoot kill sulk 9 out of 10 times as it runs after me down a hallway; etc.) I'm gunna do just that.... heh... it might be kinda nice to start a "Newbie" Clan... or some documentation.. or what have you.... *shrugs* never know!

Better get my $0.02 in before this gets locked. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Evidently, you have no clear idea what a "grief" player does. In TFC, we called 'em Llamas. That way we could tell 'em apart from the newbies.
The list that you've compiled seems to be just things that annoy you, but believe me, these are NOT "grief players". Not even close. Unless these are players to whom you have explained your pet peeves, and they are going out of their way to annoy you by doing them... But no, these are not the actions of Griefers.
Griefers drop non-resource tower structures on res nodes so that they cannot be capped.
Griefers go second and third and fourth gorge JUST to slow down the incoming res.
Griefers block the exits out of spawn areas so people can't get out.
Griefers play loud obnoxious music non-stop over voicecomm.
Griefers fill the marine base with command chairs.
Griefers take the opportunity of a temporarially open command chair to recycle all marine structures.
What you're talking about are your own personal pet peeves. Please be more clear about your use of language.

True. And even that's fairly innocent and obvious stuff. Better not tell a certain "friend" about this game...
-Having a gorge that buils sensories first, builds loads of them, then leaves the server.
-Having a comm that recycles everything, spams medpacks everywhere and crashes the server.
-Newbie teams that f4 as soon as they start losing - I'm not talking about 1 or two people, but 3/4 of the team!
-Newbies that f4 when you actually need them (decoys).
-comms that f4 without reason

Or am I behind the times? I can't keep up with you crazy kids.
Mic boost + Pre Adolescence Child
This happend on a redphive server... Happily playing as marine, doing quite well. Then a child enters the server with what must have been +20Db mic boost, and mic volue on full. When they started shouting "SHOTGUN, GIMME SHOTGUN COMM, COMM I NEED A SHOTGUN" 5 second pause "COMM WHERE IS MY SHOTGUN, I NEED IT NOW!" this cotinued for 10 mins till some1 rememberd the command to stop voice comms.
My god, it was like a nuke going off in my ear. Owwwwwwwww. I couldnt hear a damm thing, i was stood about 2m or an alien res tower while it was been seiged and i never heared 1 explosion. I became usless against anything coz i couldn't hear a thing over the screaming noises from the child.
Anyway, that gives me the most grief
Which is why I have been forced to turn voicecomm off. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
