<div class="IPBDescription">A Program to backup your config files</div> I've spent the last 3 days writing this program (that Coil requested here - <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=1&t=32568)' target='_blank'>http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/in...ST&f=1&t=32568)</a>, and I'm kinda pleased with the outcome.

Anyway I took the basic Idea of backing up your config files and then added in a notepad style text enviroment plus a few other features to try and make scripting easier.

Uuuhh... is there a reason why you can't just rename different configs to different things? Is there something special about this program and it's backing up capabilities?

Nope, just keeps them all organised in one location, stops you having to rename and move files about yourself.

Oh great... another program to make things easier. Just what I need, another program to help me stay lazy!

erm, I'm not going to try it (I made one for myself to help me understand java's input and output streams), but thanks anyways? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> It's always fun to learn and to share.

Why don't you put some more info about it on your page and announce it on PHL?

Ehm except perhaps for the comm files (which has a LOT of new commands anyway) why not just rewrite the config files? its not like there's a zillion commands to configure.
I use the menus all the time, if ya dont well I'm sure its not too hard to redo the scripts.
Nice work though! For those who DO wish to back them up, it should be a dream, I wont be using it though <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Cause I had just finished 3 days of almost solid programming and really couldn't be arsed. I might later today though.
