Im sure Voogru has his thing and he has released the stuff that he wants to release which is about 85% of the all the NS Admin stuff we are lucky that he has released anything at all.
Because everyone wanted that armory heal thing : he released it.
And because Voogru is just cool: [Phase Select] did that also

He made one big plugin that tweaked things. The same effect can be garnered from many small plugins.

Wouldnt do that since i am told that is copyrighted software and distributing it without voogru's permission is illegal.
Nevermind the fact it has a backdoor that will delete all the ns admin files if it is run without permission

Not toally sure if this is correct only played on voogru server's a few times.
but nsadmin is ratehr like adminmod/amxmod but is private and has such featrues as emdpack armour, sensoris cloak chambers etc.
Most of them have been released as separate metamod plugins so why eevryone wants nsadmin i am not too sure. Dont get me wrong is great and appears to be some good coding but one can easily re-create 80% of it via other plugins.
I myself runa total of 8 plugins on my server, 4 of whcih are some features which are included in nsadmin
why don't you just politely ask Voogru, I myself have been looking for sensory cloak, and mepdpack armour, oh well
This old version is Metamod-based, but the current NSAdmin is not, IIRC what Voogru said. However, since Voogru does not distribute his mod, he does not need to provide the source.
King distributing NSAdmin against Voogru's wishes is illegal.
The version King is distributing has a backdoor that wipes out the ns directory. See Voogru's forums for more details.
NSA isnt a virus. The backdoor is simply there to prevent people from running unauthorized NSA servers. From my understanding, it only removes Voogru's modifications and restarts the server.
hmmmm, Voogru not wanting NSadmin to be released is all fine and dandy, but if what you say is true then the lawyers could have a fit over this... if it erases part of your hard drive (ns folder) and if you stored other valuable things in there and you lost these do to the results of a malicous backdoor, Voogru could get in some trouble, well not him, his parents..

So you think it's legal to run illegal code? Either you would both settle for nothing, or you would both settle for something on your record.
Just let it be known that someone (not me, not voogru, but someone) WILL nuke your NSAdmin server if you use king's version.
Simplecompound, backdoors are what viruses abuse. They are not viruses themselves. A backdoor could be a command that tells you the server rcon, or a command that gives you admin on someone else's server.
I warned him very nicely and clearly, "If my software is running on your servers, I will remove it."
He ran it, and released it. Knowing that it had backdoors. If anyone gets a copy of NSAdmin, your running it at your own risk. Not only is an extremly buggy DLL, but it has backdoors as well.
A person changes the password to a program you have created, or you forget the password. With the backdoor, you can access your program through a different method instead of through the standard "front door".
It isn't a virus or trojan, it is coded into the program just as another way to access the program. It is not hacking the program either.

i truly feel sorry for anyone who downloads this and gets their comp broke because of KingKahhuna.
King - doesn't and hasn't written his own plugins (has of the time of writing this)
Voogru - has written his own plugins and whats more he has made a few of them public.
As far as the backdoor thing goes. Its perfectly legal and its a better form of revenge. Even people in companies do it, sometimes when they get fired. Maybe if your very very lucky and Voogru is in a good mood, he might be <i>*nice*</i> enough to make a few more metamod GPL plugins but thats up to him.

He won't admit to backdoors in his pluggins, but they are there....
One final comment for now: the version of NSAdmin I'm distributing is METAMOD pluggin version. All pluggins made for MetaMod are PUBLIC DOMAIN, and you have a right to ask for the SOURCE CODE for it.
I paid for NSAdmin, and I'm willing to pass it out FREEly to anyone that wants to see.

This is libel. I, and others, have been through the source of many of voogru's publicly released plugins, and found no such thing. Take your FUD elsewhere.

Wrong, on two counts:
1) GPL'd code is not public domain; those are two entirely separate concepts. Read up on it.
2) The source code only has to be released if the GPL'd product is distributed, and then only to those who the binaries were released to. NSAdmin has always been a private plugin. Please read the GPL, or at least the FAQ; this is completely clear.

Sure you did. Let's see a receipt or an invoice. Or are you claiming you own NSAdmin because you donated services to voogru? That argument holds no water.
From what I've noticed, almost the entire community of the old voogru servers suffered from mob mentality. Anyone that happened to be on their side could never commit any wrongdoing, and anyone not on their side was the lamest person on earth.
Backdoors: they really aren't backdoors if people you tell people they exist. In this case they're obviously version control.
SourceCode: He doesn't have to release any sourcecode since he didn't release the dll to the public.
Quality of past plugins: well, everyone that matters already knows my opinion on that topic.
He has also attacked voogru's personal life because voogru doesn't want him using nsadmin.
