I think that would be ns>sound>items>weapondrop1.wav
However, that means that someone picking up a welder or mine (dropping their pistol), or a hmg, gl or shotty (dropping their lmg) would also trigger a scream.

    Sold. "Hmg pls."
    Comm "Here ya go."
Sold. "AAAAH! THE PAIN! THE PAIN! MEDPACK!"
    Comm "??"

Since consistency checking is enabled on some (if not many) ns servers, doing this will be a pain unless you only frequent those servers with this "feature" disabled. People in the past have tried to get the ns devs to make consistency checking not affect sounds, but they say that its a built-in HL feature that couldn't be easily modified without starting from scratch with an ns-specific consistency checker. Given that few people complain about sound consistency issues, I'd concede that other ns areas need attention more urgently.

I've tried to isolate it so I could use by own screaming sound, but it won't work.

Each alien weapon has its own "kill" sound. This sound plays whether the alien kills a building or a marine. Therefore, if you make it so marines scream when you kill them, then marine buildings will also scream when they're destroyed.

Same thing goes with the dropping weapon sound, as the poster above stated.

In the end I mixed together a neutral chomp and crunch sound for the skulk's bite kill, so it works either way. Let's see if I can attach it...

For some reason it won't let me attach .wav files; I had to rename it to remove the extension. So, add the .wav extension to get it to play in sound recorder.
