    Looks nice, but you should make the green computer lights red or orange. It would be a better contrast with the blue lights.

    Mr.Ben: Wow orange textures and pink light, it is very dared (dunno if this is the right word.. (Google's translation)), but it looks really realistic and original. Keep it up!

    Dr.Zenz: Not every area requires a very clear and strong lighting contrast and if i added it i think it would destroy the atmosphere. It's the marine spawn and i want my marines to feel safe, i think if i start adding orange and red lights it's going to start getting darker and scarier which i don't want.

    That sort of look/atmosphere i feel i've achieved with my hive location and i want the real contrast to be between the two areas. Hive = dark, red and orange, orangic and very scary. Marine spawn = open, techy with this nice and light lighting and as you travel to and thro the themes will be merged. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Nice use of the good 'ol wall_lab textures... you might wanna play with the lighting a bit, primarily those spotlights in the first pic.

    on the 5th pic, there is too much green light coming from the little computery thingys
    on the wall!IMO!

    Yes, I know, I'm going to tweak a little more that area, since it's new, it still has some work to do, like, the railings go into the light textures, and the red lighting is too strong, and the green consoles on that wall give too much green light...

    So, I'll update the pics when I'm happy with the results (It'll be the same URL, so I won't post again)

    As Moconnor said, it's ns_. That "second level" is merely decorative and to give some cover to skulks and all, the commander sees through it. But, I have a reduced version of phobia as a co_ map, it was finished long time ago, but I'm planning on changing some rooms and give the map more complexity, I'll just use ns_phobia's rooms anyways.

    New Year's Screenshots of ns_moira! Yayes.

    This is the glory of Marine Start. The console screens there need a little tweakin' (they ain't got teh ambient light, d00d) and the wall out the door will have a more interesting texture when I feel like making one... probably a logo for Moira, which is some greek god or something to do with Fate. Which is an apt name, as I've been trying to chew out a good NS map for 2 years and this one looks really promising (ah, but don't they all?)

    Anyways, less talk more screenshot:

They're part of my Darksteel set and I'll be releasing them sometime for everyone to use (probably about 50 - 75 gritty metal textures for your mapping enjoyment.)

    On another note, is 400 wpolys too much for Marine Start? I could get rid of those monitors, although that would make MS pretty bland...
