New Onos Ability Devour Question...

I'm just wondering the new abillity for the onos sounds awsome but what will stop a marine from just going into console and typeing kill to avoid the 30 second digestion and there ultimite death? Seems to me anyone in that situation would just give up and just go ahead and kill themselves

    Am not sure but i would think the can block kill command or maby make it detect some one using kill while been devored and be jailed/kicked/ or some thing for 30secs ? or maby if the human kills self while been devored the alien could recive 30secs of imortality ? lol

    Oh just thought of a more likely thing. when u devored u die instant but u carnt respawn for 30secs.

    out of interest, can you fire your gun while devoured? sounds plausable as this version is all about counters.

    you can still exit or reconnect but you wont spawn any faster...

    And yes it does take time to digest a marine, It depends on the marines health.

    Hrm.... but I've SEEN some screenies.... in other threads they've had a couple of them... old 1.1 beta's to be sure... none with the new turret sizes.. or ne of that.. but still.. c'mon.. we need screenies!

    We're under strict instructions not to post screenshots. That's the job of people like MonsieurEvil. Heck, we're even scared to post observer-mode screenshots of non-action scenes in new maps; the current punishment for leaking such stuff is, well...let's just say the thought of the consequences isn't a pretty picture.

    you hit it once then just press against whatever u want to kill, so hit it then run against the tf for a few seconds and it will be dead in no time
