Shell.mdl Problem

i got a large number of servers that give the this = server is enforcing file constisitie for file shell.mdl now i dont know what rong whit that but i only have 4 to 5 playable server out of 20 in the list

well I don't know what filters you are using, but I get about a 300+ servers.

When it says the server is forcing file consistency, it means that it wants you to use the original game, unmodified.

This would basically suggest you are using custom skins/models => the server won't let you in.

Why? Well there are smart ppl out there who will make skins and lots of other stuff, who are bright sparklin orange. And a bright sparkling orange skulk is pretty easy to spot <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Basically, you willl need to play with the regular skins, unmodified, on your limited serverlist.

But plz tell us if you actually ARE using custom skins/sounds/models

Ah yes.. Shell.mdl. its the hd shotty shell from HL. I think all you have to do is go into the gearbox folder and get its shell from its model folder and copy it into NSs model folder or something.. Gearbox or valve.. Not quite sure, I did it a while ago.
