    I know I poke fun at the teens here quite a bit about their generation, but in this case I must simply say:

    Yes, any generation that makes Avril Lavigne their grammy-winning, platinum-selling, mtv-dominating rock anthem queen need to be kicked in the neck. So, I agree. Stop it. Stop liking her, teenagers. Stop it right now.

    Did you guys ever hear her cover of System of a Down's "Chop Suey"? My god. She didn't even know the words. She just strummed on her guitar and shouted random words. I don't even know if they were english.

    edit: Anyway I guess theres a million of these pop star people out there I've never heard of, to me this is just another reason not to watch or listen to anything remotely mainstream.

    In short, all her songs are just catchy to some people degree, not because they are original, uplifting or creative. She'll go through her first phase like this, then she'll kinda change, release another CD, then release another CD later about how much she has changed and that she's not like how she was before.
