My Hl Controls Configuration Is Messed Up

Before this i had no problems binding keys like arrows, delete, end, insert and such, but now for some reason am i able to bind arrows just by HOLDING the arrow and then clicking on what i want to assign it, this is even worse with the delete key, because when i do it this way, in 98% cases is the bound thing immediately deleted. Also when i bind something to SHIFT, it dont works and activates sometimes when i press the arrows (like if i bind jump to shift, i pres shift and nothing happens, then i run around and when i try to strafe i jump), dont you know what can cause this? I think its not in HL, bcause CS does it too and its installed in different folder.

Sounds like something throughout you're entire Half-Life install if it's happening in multiple mods. All I can suggest is uninstalling Half-Life completely then reinstalling. Remember to back up any config file/custom maps before you uninstall though.

Actually, if CS does it too (what about other mods, if you have any?), then wouldn't that be a fair indicator that it actually IS HL's fault and not a problem specifically with NS? I'd recommend a reinstall... Also, this should be in the Tech Support forum.

All mods did that, but looks like turning off the almighty NUMLOCK fixed it, but its strange it worked before.
My CS is the CS Retail so its in different folder independent on half-life. I think its some of those windoze problems no one can fix <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

No, damn, now i can use shift and other keys, but cant use the damn numpad keys.

Its fixed, only thing i did tody was that i installed F**eA**s mod and when i was setting controls for this mod i saw it works OK, tried it in NS and it worked too.
