<div class="IPBDescription">3.1.1.1 a,b,c don't working with NS</div> I tried HL 3.1.1.1 a,b,c and NS 1.04 on RH 7.2 and server don't start, with other mods for hl working perfect (CS or HL i tried).
With HL 3.1.1.0 a,b,c work good.
I hope NS 1.1 working with this patch for HL.
All vers HL 3.1.1.1 a,b,c give me same errors:
./hlds_run: line 119: 4071 Segmentation fault (core dumped) $HL $*
warning: Unable to set global thread event mask: generic error

I use RH 7.2, HL 3.1.1.1 a,b,c and NS 1.04 , with and wthout adminmod and metamod.
PEASE GIVE ME SOME HELP TO START SERVER WITH HL 3.1.1.1 c BECAUSE IS SINGLE SERVER FOR NATURAL SELECTION IN ROMANIA. And this vers of HL give some optimised binaries for *unix and is working great in CS mod and i hope working great in NS mod.
With HL 3.1.1.0 a,b,c work good.

ditto
What is relations with HL->NS on RH and HL->NS on slack.
This is that problems.
Why is dif 3.1.1.0-NS and 3.1.1.1-NS, because 3.1.1.0-CS and 3.1.1.1-CS working very good.
Is HL upgrade and working, but don't working with NS on RH.
Very big problem for me <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> to many questions <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> ?

Notice the "open(umovestr: Input/output error" about ten lines from the bottom - this is the first of them, but there are 59 of them throughout the strace. These doesn't show in an strace of hlds 3.1.1.0, but they are in strace's of hlds 3.1.1.1 with DoD; though there aren't as many as with NS.
It looks to me like some environment variable that hlds uses isn't set - or something similar. Do those of you that have NS working with HLDS 3.1.1.1 see similar messages if you make an strace, or is it worth investigating this further?
If anyone's interested, I can provide the full strace and coredump.
