I am NOT trying to dig myself in deeper I jsut wanna learn and understand how things work here.

    I believe there are certain ways... erhm... to get all the bloody gore you need. You can find answers in the "Models and Skins"-forum if blood color is what you want to change. I don't suppose anyone has modelled death animations that would include a marine hand being ripped off, marines getting sliced in two or something similar... Just for the atmosphere.

    WHY: Because it is desirable to keep NS PG13, so paranoid parents won't mind their childs playing it(well, maybe it won't make a difference for most, but that little bit that it DOES make a difference for...).
    There is something weird with the req. for PG13 so that alien blood is perfectly okay, while human blood isn't.

    The majority of NS players does not really care about blood itself. BUT it is of immense importance to have <b>damage feedback</b> when attacking marines. It's one of the basic elements in games, and yet partly missing in NS <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I'd second that actualy, i dont much care for a huge spray of blood in my face when i bite a #rine, but i like to know i've hit him. Maybe a kind of grey "blood" that could be passed off as armour?
