I just had a look at it again and thought "this applies to NS really well". Of course, the NS team never had a deadline to work with, which made the job a lot easier for them, but they also knew what they could do, what would work and what would never be more than a buggy feature. Anyone thinking of making their own mod or game should read this article, and anyone else too.
