Er, "drink of choice".....ye scalleywag!
Sup yo...

Just got back from the store and was admiring the fine variety of beverages they have for sale. Anyways, I got to wondering what drinks the NS community enjoys (responsibly!).

My absolute favorite is Jagermeister!

"56 herbs, roots and fruits are brought together from all across the globe. Cinnamon from Ceylon, bitter oranges from Australia, ginger root from South Asia, red sandalwood from East India, blueberriesfrom Europe... plus of course one or two
secret herbs and spices."

Just that alone gets my tastebuds tingleing. Filtered through opium, cut with elks blood and created in 1934 to fuel the Nazi war machine.

Mmmmm mmmm goodness.

*edit* ah just went back to the store and got a whole case. Now I should probably drink the lone bottle so he doesn't get jealous of the others in their fancy box.

Seeing as how I'm only 18 and in the states, I have to settle for high-caffiene content things ilke Bawls and the occasional dnL.

Long Island Iced Tea for me. Deceptively high alcohol content, considering how it tastes.

That or the occasional Caesar. Make a bloody mary, but substitute tabasco for the tomato juice. Or if you're particularly masochistic (or want to watch the bartender's eyebrows go through the roof) habanero sauce. REALLY clears the sinuses, and it drives away anyone who wants to just take 'one sip'. ^_^

Oh... and of course. Guinness. Only beer you can drink with a fork, and one of the only beers I consider beer. Especially compared to most of the p***-water 'beers' we have in the States.

    Corona

oh by the way, if anyone has ever had a bottle of mint or cinnamon Aftershock do this when the bottle is empty.

Whether you like Aftershock or not, when the bottle is empty, dont throw or rinse it out.
Just let the bottle sit somewhere for like a week or so.

All the sugar in this alcoholic drink (there is a ton) will crystalise and turn into red cinnamon or green mint flavored alcoholic rock candy. Whether you liked the drink or not its really good stuff. Just shake the bottle to get them loose and enjoy!

Ooooh, I'll put a non alchoholic drink too (gotta be trendy y'know?)

I'd say slurpee but that's like food too so...iced tea!

Oh I also like drinking just about any 40's with an alchohol content higher than 7 but that has nothing to do with pleasure of taste

Alcoholic: Jägermeister (yay) and gin & tonic, as those are the only ones I can drink without major side-effects.
    Non-alcoholic: Keemun tea.

Especially pure water. Will suck the minerals right out of your body. And D2O is pretty nasty too.

Alright, I'll be honest: every time I say "I'm not much of a drinker," it's because the most I've had is a sip or few of the wines my Grandfather tells me to try now and then. Like Nem, I go for water.

If I was of legal drinking age, the first mixed drink I'd like to try is a Ruby Bliels.

alchohol in small amounts is good for you. In excess it is bad, like most things. Humans have been drinking alchohol for thousands of years but have only invented distillery pretty recently. Wine, which was the common substance, is just fermented fruit. Not hard to do. Wine is low in alchohol and is good for you. When distillery came along we could make high proof brandy. Brandy is high in alchohol and isnt all that good for you. One theory is that we havnt evolved the ability to handle high concentrations of alchohol.

Pepsi, or basically any soda, but pretty much just pepsi since that's all my friends end up getting. I don't like beer or wine very much.

Yes, A man after my own taste buds!

Nothing better than a cold Jag, mixed with sprite is actually quite delcious, I really can't drink any other liquor than that. I usually go for the boring stuff, you know, Budweiser, drink no oter beer but it. Ive tried others, but Budweiser is my favorite and its the only one that seems to have any effect on me (at least without drinking a whole six pack)

Of course, there nothing better than keg beer!

Non alocholic, my moms home brewed Iced Tea, lots of sugar yummy!
