Help With Server

<div class="IPBDescription">AMX mod................</div> I'm just wondering, but when I first start my server (before AMX mod executes) I have over 300 fps, but as soon as AMX mod comes up, it goes down to 100. Is that normal, or is there something wrong?

We've been using AMX for quite sometime now and I dont think it affects your fps in any certain ways. The individual or amount of plugins you have can affect your FPS. And at 100 you shouldnt worry to much.

i have no idea how you got to 300fps, but hlds is capped at 99 ...or so i thought. anyway

when you go below 30 you will notice some lag...anything below 25 and ppl usually start whining

I think he's referring to server fps, which we all know can be expanded past 100 with ping boosting software.

ok.... I do have quite a few plugins on it....

btw, it's a P4 running on XP with 512 DDR... That's the reason I get 300 fps <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
