Login / Password Retriveal Issue

I honestly have no clue as to where to put this so I put it here.

Back when NS was first released I had an account under the name Venom. I then promptly lost my internet connection and when i got it back I never thought about my NS account. Then a week or so ago I remembered it and I went to login and i tried a few of my passwords and none of them worked, so I tried the "Password Retrieval" option. When I input my name into the box I get this message:

<!--c1--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->The Following Errors Were Found
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The registration code did not match the one displayed, a new code has been generated, please try again<!--c2--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->

I tried a few times and I still got the same message so I left it alone for a few days. Then I tried again today and still no go. I'm just wondering if it is at all possible to get my old account back. I would perfer to use that account over this one as Venom is the online name I use for online games.

Incase anyone is wondering, the account is still "mine". I emailed 'Venom' and the email showed up in my hotmail inbox so I know it is still 'my' account.

    What do you mean, your name on the forums? Why not just use password retrieval, (I'm assuming its here) and that

    The password retrieval system has been malfunctioning for some people. I'm not in a position to know why, but I wouldn't be surprized if it's for the same reason that the "search" link near the top of each page is buggier for some people than the simpler keyword search field at the bottom of the page.

    In any case, it's a known problem, and being worked on.
