Don't get me wrong though, it's a very good image.
The funny thing is, I rarely go into these things with the intent of drawing anything in particular... for instance, for this picture I just started messing around and then drew the helmet, and it went on from there...

Nah, anything too complicated in the background would take the empasis off the actual figure itself. Plus colour wouldn't fit in at all imo, it would take out the whole 'dark' feeling, atleast in my eyes <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
Personally I like the first one, its just so.. simple, and sexy, and.... more overly-exaggurated words of praise.
