Alien Hud Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">Its really really dark...</div> Ok when im a alien my HUD is all really dark. If I use normal gamma everything on the HUD is pretty much black.
I turn up my gamma though cause its pretty much impossible to see anything. The game looks normal and all sprites in game are normal but the alien hud is dark.
The marine HUD is perfectly fine and I do not know whats wrong. I have updated my vid card drivers only so far.
My PC is as follows:
xp2000
GF4 Ti 4600
512 corsair xms 3200
epox 8k3a kt333 mobo
audigy 2
Windows XP with Service Pack 1

ahhh errr thats the main important stuff.

The problem has been fixed.
I was running two monitors from my video card with nview.
When I disabled teh secondary monitor the HUD was fine and so was the writing.

hmm, if you WANT to run with 2 moniters you might wana PM Coil I know he runs with 2 (or at least I remember that)

lol, that sucks.

Though it leads me to believe that it is some sorta setting.

When he reformated he probably changed 1 or more of his settings that fixxed it, I am gona try and serch to see if I can come up with anything
