Squads.....limitations?

<div class="IPBDescription">The usefulness, and possible strats...</div> In the beta forum, there's a "squads" thread. I've read it, and I had a couple questions/ideas.
Ideas:
o Use colors for squads. (Ie: Green, Red, Yellow, Purple, etc.) Now, instead of a #, u have a color.... all squad waypoints should be colored that color, and on u're hud you should have a bar indicating u're squad color (Blue would be no squad)
o Other Squad members would have a graphic above thier heads, in the color of u're squad. However, ONLY you're squad members would have any visable graphic. (I'm thinking TSA logo... possibly make this skinable for clans...)
o Squad waypoints/squad members would show up on the minimap.
I think those changes would make squads more useful/eliminate the PT's issues. Now, onto the questions part...
Questions:
PT's:
o How often are squads used?
o What tactics have been tried with them?
o How easy is it for a com to keep track of 3+ squads?
o How easy is it to manage waypoints?
o Should squads be able to be assigned mulible waypoints at once? *aka, follow the bread crumbs?*
Members:
o Do you think you, as a comm, you would use them, and how?
o Do you think that it would make you're life easier as comm, or more difficult?
o How would you like to see Squads work?
Keep in mind, those questions involve personal opinions, and I'm just curious about how members feel about them.. personally I think they're a wonderful addition. <b>Please, whatever you do, DON'T turn this into a flame war.</b> This is just a post out of curiosity, and offering some suggestions.
