New Study On Gamers!

Gamers are better drivers.
I saw this on the news last week. I've been trying to find articles on it, but thanks to crappy search engines...... I'm still looking.
Why are gamers better drivers?
from what I can remember
- Gamers are more aware of their surroundings
- They can track multiple objects a lot better than non-gamers
- They are quicker to react because they basically expect something to happen (like a skulk to jump out of the vent right infront of you) Same thing but with cars cutting you off.
Theres a whole bunch of other things that apply, maybe if someone knows a URL to the article you can post it.
I'm a gamer and i'm also a badass driver.

A couple weeks ago, when I was still playing a lot of Vice City, I was on the highway and there was a 4x4 piece of lumber in the road. I had to swerve out of the way really fast and then there was another piece right in frnot of me, so i had to swerve back the other way. Tires squealed a bit, and after I got through it I thought "whoa, good thing I was playing GTA and knew what to do." :P

There is an article somewhere on games causing creativity eg making mods/maps etc.
I second that ^
So will the media get off our backs now?
When I first saw this, my immediate thoughts were the Grand Theft Auto games, and I thought, "WTH?! Better driving? Yeah right!". But the part about noticing stuff is pretty much true.
