sorry to hear you running in software mode, i just get so cheesed of with everyone complaining about r_speeds on every hl forum, when people play cs_mice-final they dont realise the w_poly is over 1000 and they never complain about lag, it's mainly a mappers restiction, r_speeds of 1000 are fine even for sloth of pc's if not then get something worth playing games on :O

when testing a maps performance for halflife, i always run it in software mode. Valve claims 40% of the halflife community uses software mode!!!

yeah...But take notice, that the majority, 60% don't...So, won't you test it for the majority? ...Anyways, The from then til now thing is AMAZING...The first is my whole map right now..besides one room which is currently the second. On another note, I've ran out of space in my map, with MS, and 2 hives, and am now devising a new layout.

    Overview for ns_colony : layout

Bare with me here, i am still adding a central room which will probably contain another resource node, some of the lower resource node placements may change slightly

That's a bit pointless in NS, as it doesn't support software mode.
