Speaker Problems

This keeps happening off and on again with my computer. Every once in a while my right speaker will just stop playing any sound, leaving me with crap quality gaming / music. Anyone know how to fix this?

Also note that I know its plugged in because the right speaker (the disfunctional one) is the one which the left plugs into, then the right plugs into the computer. I tried turning the balance all the way over to it, only getting silence. I put my headphones into the jack on the speaker, same thing happened. Played MP3 music, music off a CD (not burned, acutal legit CD), same thing.

Fixed it was bad connection to the back of my computer... *mutters*.... one of these days im gonna cut the stupid thing off and put a new minijack connector on.
