<div class="IPBDescription">Need data</div> im considering making a PC case for a school technology project and i was wondering if anybody knew of a site whiich had all the dimensions of an ATX case on it so that i can get it perfect. I have had a look on google but all i keep getting is useless stuff on how to put a processor into the motherboard, and i can do that allready.

    Honestly, there really are no set 'dimensions' for a case. You can put the power supply anywhere you want, and so on. What you really need to do is nab the backplane off an ATX mobo and find out where the mounting holes go, and the alignment for the cardslots. Same with mounting screw holes for HDD/FDD/CD-ROM and so on.

    Really, it's easier just to measure what's going in, and base it off that. So measure on the mobo itself, the HDDs and all. Presuming that you're building a case, you'll have all the dimensions you'll need.
