Couple Problems

<div class="IPBDescription">map and score problem</div> When I go to play game I cant see the marine team score and I cant see the map in the top right cornner, its too bright. I have tried reinstalling and installing but it still does it. When I make a server then the map is fine. What can I do to fix this?

    As far as my knowledge goes, the rine scores have been deleted because of :

    1. to motivate teamplay amongst marines
    2. to relieve the server and to improve overall latency, some servers dont show scores at all, be it rines or aliens.

    As for the minimap... I don't use it <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
    I don't think it is in a very good place on the HUD, but well, I know most maps, so I'd rather spend my time listening for aliens, or trying to spot ambushes than staying fixed on the minimap.

    umm, yah the mini map actualy dosn't tell you anything for now (marines don't get to see any dots on it or any thing so It is kinda pointless)

    If you want help with maps, simply create a klan and goskulk and run around

    you can also usse thes commands to learn tech:
    sv_cheats 1 (enable cheats this first)
    bigdig (insta build with out any one having to actualy build)
    givepoints (give you rez)
    spawnhive (as an alien spawns a hive)

    oh yea and when I alt-tab sometimes (like 4 so far) my desktop is all bright.

    yes that can occur, I have that as well.

    tbh, I can still see everything on my desktop very well, although very bright, but I can still change settings and stuff.

    The brightness with alt tab is just a luxury problem <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    it is a program included with NS (if you go to the NS folderin your start menu it is there)

    though this is ofr people who get the over bright after CLOSING NS I figgure it should work for you
