I will NEVER quit playing NS although I am not a pt vt I think their doing great just have patience n maybe Flayra will give you the lowdown on everything when the time is right or something.
When I get well not bored but when I had enough of playing on pub servers I fireup RCBOT and play n practice with them.I tell ya some peeps think their dumb but in a way their not.Sometimes these AI bots can get 3 hives(2) since they have 1 and some aliens will go onos and get ya.
For the whole NS community I will not complain or criticize a game that I haven't played yet.I have faith and patience that the NS team will make the best damn game you ever seen.With alot that is said about about the changes maybe their good maybe their not,But alot of them should make the game great if you know how to use them or find a counter.
I think Flayra said figure it out or find for yourselves,If some of the PT's and VT's quit playing,testing 1.1 it maybe awhile before it comes out?
I never get bored playing NS,I think it's great well maybe not for some,to be the last one standing with a jetpack and hmg while yer at one end of the map and the aliens have killedoff yer teammates and yer the last,it's fun then ya take the game out longer till the aliens find you hehe,then ya go for a hive and try to shoot that sucker down before the aliens can get there.
This is true: I can't remember the server it's been along time where this has happened where I had a jetpack/hmg/welder and the only one left after the rest of my team is dead.I went and tookout refinery hive with 2 alines hot on my trail I just zipped outta there like a bat out of ****,then moved onto engine and killed it and 3 fades came into engine as I finished it off.great times maybe it can be this way for v1.1 if you find the way to do it.

For instance, the people testing now may be missing tons of items because they are use to the private servers....where if you throw one person in who is use to public servers, they'll spot a problem quickly.

thowing in new people.. would slow downt he process considerably.. it would take them a few days to get use to it.. a few more to think of strats.. and then they would have to reorginize a playing schedule. Also note, we still do play public games.... so not sure what you mean by that.
Ever read the front page of this site? Notice that Flayra is trying to add some new international playtesters?
