Eh... Siege?

<div class="IPBDescription">Damn</div> I'm still only about 1/3 finished with my map and I realized it may have a massive flaw. My one and only hive location thus far is able to be sieged from 5 seperate locations. The problem is, I'm not sure if the siege range that I'm using is in fact correct. I've been playing the game in devmode and it acts as though I'm still playing an unpatched version. Phase gates still work without pressing the use key, and I think the siegerof is further than it should be. Before I go and completely revise my map, I'd like to know what the correct range of fire is, and exactly how to test for it.

green dots are locations where siege will reach the hive
btw, I realize the hallways look bland... although they aren't nearly as long as they appear from the pic, since they wind vertically as well as horizontally. I've considered replacing the gray boxed section with another room of some kind, but haven't gotten to it yet.

the siege range just slightly decreased in 1.3 (-5%) and it was no longer able to siege what you cant see or scan.
adding a vent to a siege position for a quick alternative route can make any siege position fair.
