Where Are The Gun Sounds Located?

<div class="IPBDescription">Please help</div> I cant find the sounds for the pistol or the LMG in the sounds folder where are they located? I want to replace all the gun sounds with ones of my own.

    Half-Life\NS\sounds\weapons

    Look in that folder.

    Thats where im at but I cant find the pistol or LMG sound file. Whats the file name of the two?

    hg-1.wav and mg-1.wav for pistol and lmg respectively.

    I'm not certain, but I think consistency checks don't like custom sounds. Make sure you back up the originals before you change them, in case you want to get them back.

    If you search on FilePlanet, you can find some really awesome sounds replacements for the guns and the Onos Charge roar. It was funny the first time I attacked a Marine, and he started shooting at me with a LMG but it sounded like a gun more powerful than a HMG <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> .
