<div class="IPBDescription">without obnoxious nerds.</div> so after a brief hiatus, I've been wanting to get back into NS. However, each server I've been on since coming back to the game has been infested with whining, obnoxious **** who would rather complain about how much their comm sucks and lose than try to win. Most of all, I'm sick of all these smacktards talking trash to one another because "omg, you're such a newb!"

I'd like to find some servers with a consistent group of players who are interested in <b>playing to win</b>, cooperating, and having fun, instead of looking for excuses to F4 out. If anyone knows of such a server (assuming there are some) please PM or email me. Thanks!

12 player server gonna be 16 when ns 1.1 comes out but until then it runs quite a few fun plugins and Liku's Map pack (dl from sig via fast mirror) to add a bit of variety and lfie to 1.04 <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Hi,
Since you asked, the <a href='http://ns.punkassfraggers.com' target='_blank'>Punk A$$ Fraggers</a> now has a awesome NS server up and running full time.
You can find it at: <b>198.172.110.212:27015</b>

It is a dual xeon 2.4 machine with NO other servers on it. It has 1.5 gigs of DDR ram, a 10,000 RPM scsi drive and is located in the Los Angeles Verio data center with a direct backbone connection to the internet.

Of course, there are always new players on any server. We try to educate them and we STRONGLY discourage F4ing.
We do strongly encourage team play and productive communication. Even though it is a new server, it still gets a fair number of good players and the list of regulars is growing.

You could try the CoFR server. No swearing allowed, active admins most times of the day, good regular bunch of players and some quite good commanders. Emphasise is on fun and you will find that f4'ing is generally not a problem when the regulars players are on. Late at night/very early morning (U.S. time) it can be touch and go as to what the games will be like, so try to get on in the peak hours for the best games. No fancy plugins, just the /stuck plugin. We have one custom map in the rotation atm, ns_lost, although we do have a few 'novelty maps' that we load up occasionally when the players get bored ie. ns_ninja_fall. The novelty maps are quite small so usually people just download from the server when we change to those maps.
