<div class="IPBDescription">wicked efficient</div> How many of you have experienced whenever a squad of HA gets larger than 3 they tend to use their welders as primary weapon instead of HMG or GL? I myself find this although efficient but very wrong. I understand why they do it, simply due to the welder's long initiate time and the HMG's long reloading time.
Maybe this could be issued to 1.1? Making the HMG a bit faster to reload with a HA (they're after all powered) or lessen the initiate time for the welder. I don't know, what do you think?

How do you die to a fade if everyone keeps welding?
Oh ya it also makes you look like your just playing around when you welder rush so the aliens are like..... "omg we lost to a bunch of marines that are just playing around and we are trying as hard as we can....." Because HA absorbs damage, it does not take the entire blow, so you still lose health. Thats how people can have full armour but are at 10hp.

Truely that is the only way to stop some HA/Welder trains.
At least it's the easiest way if nobody is watching the base.
Hmm, HA absorbs 95% of damage, this means that if you can deal a mere 2000 points of damage to a HA without him getting a medpack inbetween, he is dead even if he gets welded!

Even if you don't get wielded, and if you have lv. 3 armor, that means you will take around 900 points of damage.
With medspam and a wielder, you can't die.
Anyone who runs around <b>alone</b> in HA <b>deserves</b> to die.
