<div class="IPBDescription">this is really starting to bug me</div> I dunno if I'm the only person having this problem or not, but its really anoying, everytime I leave NS something changes my mouse settings to the following values:
cl_forwardspeed "0.05"
cl_backspeed "0.022000"
cl_vsmoothing "0.022"
m_pitch "0.022000"
m_yaw "0.8"
m_forward "1.0"
m_side "0.0"
this causes me to have to reset them every time I want to play NS, in addition to that it changes my name to "unnamed" I reinstalled it and it is still having the problem, please help if you can.

if you change them in config.cfg they should be that way the next time you bring NS up.
Also if your're usin ASE, it lets you run a script when its starting a game make sure nothing is in there
(right click on NS in the left window, go to custom-config)
make a file called autoexec.cfg in your SIERRA\Half-Life\valve, and put in it exec startup.cfg
now make a file called startup.cfg and put in it:
<!--c1--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->
developer 1; echo Mouse Reset; developer 0
cl_forwardspeed "400"
cl_backspeed "400"
cl_vsmoothing "0.05"
m_pitch "0.022000"
m_yaw "0.022"
m_forward "1"
m_side "0.8"<!--c2--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->
this should do it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
and for all your scripting needs: <a href='http://half-life.gamehelp.com/' target='_blank'>I am HL</a>
2 quick things:
do a search for autoexec.cfg (see what in them)
are you ussing an external server browser? (Ase, GS etc)
Do you have CS retail AND HL installed?
meh, your problem is bothering me <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> (even If we gave you the fix)
