[mwip] Overlord Skin

<div class="IPBDescription">Hive Replacement</div> So ive been workin on the overlord skin for the overlord model, which is going to replace the hive for the SC pack. I dunno how i started, but ive been workin for a while now. After finishing exams(and doing amazingly <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'> ), i was back on the skin (well not <i>on</i> the skin, but you get my point.) Progress has been made, and i am currently close to completion.

I dunno about you, but to me, my wierd vein things on his face look really ****. I didnt do as much detail as possible on the sides, so its cleaner, but some suggestions would help. Also, the back legs i wasnt too sure about. Finnaly, i was wondering whether i should give him those huge wrinkles on his face. Please comment and suggest.

Well the wrinkles would be a nice touch... but then agian, who sits there and stares at the hive? The back legs would also be a nice touch.. and would also be more noticable than the wrinkles.

when this is released i am going to make it the colours from the sc mission which will be the Purple and the Bright orange coz they look bad ****

Well you see, the eyes are a designated modelled out part of the model and i cant move it without the face seeming strange.
Also, I couldnt replicate the face exactly due the modelling of it, so i tried my best. Im gonna try and add more folds and stuff to the face though.

edit- The version of the overlord i based mine off of was from the original SC, so its not supposed to be like that picture.

in my eyes it looks "better" :>
someone got any ideas how i can make it still better ?
p.s. is someone outta there who can make an idle sequence which lets the overlord rotate slowly and lets him slowly fly up and down ?

looks to me as if you hacked together the ultralisk skin. If you do that give credit if you didn't then my mistake but parts of it looks awefully similar.

enforcer is right. everything is stolen from the ultralisks`textures cause i really wanted to create this beast and im not the awesome god of texture creating ;[
i think im not going to release this cause the texture looks too weird and i dont want to get in trouble with the guy who created the great ultralisk textures a.s.o.
but how the heck you noticed that i took parts of the texture ? <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>
i really just tool small parts like stripes of skin which were about an inch long and stretched or "patchworked" them

at least the textures were done by Psycho-Kinetic Hyper-Geek so GO AND DOWNLOAD HIS DAWN GREAT ULTRALISK MODEL !
